We will contribute to the development of innovative cancer therapies that can be individually tailored by using our unique technology to create cancer stem cells in order to realize "cancer predictive medicine," which includes methods for predicting which cancers you may get.

- Utilization as a basis for screening anticancer drugs against cancer stem cells
A New Approach to Cancer Treatment
The important thing in cancer treatment is to select an effective anticancer drug with minimal side effects for each patient.
By creating cancer stem cells while you are still healthy and establishing effective treatments for your constitution beforehand in case you need them in the future, you can improve the cure rate
when cancer develops.
Our main purpose is the generation of cancer stem cells with individual genetic background from various pluripotent stem cells including induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells with the aim of prolonging and saving the lives of cancer patients. By using these cancer stem cells for screening of anti-cancer drugs and development of individual cancer therapies, we will play a role in the development of effective and rapid cancer therapies.
